If Perak can boast their Rendang Tok, I can boast my Rendang Mak. I call it Rendang Mak because I got the recipe from my mother. Today I made some “Beef Rendang” which turned out to be everyone’s favorite. Below are some pictures of the before and after process of making it.
2 kilograms beef
Lemon grass, tumeric, and hot chillies
Sliced galanga (lengkuas) and ginger
Small Onions
Milk from 4 coconuts
"Asam Gelugur"
